بورے والا(چوہدری اصغر علی جاوید سے)سوشل ویلفیئر اینڈ کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ سوسائٹی رجسٹرڈ بورے والا کے صدر محمد شیر خان کھچی نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان سمیت دنیا بھر میں تمباکو نوشی کے خلاف عالمی دن 31 مئی کو منایا جائے گا اس دن کے منانے کا مقصد تمباکو نوشی کے انسانی صحت کو لاحق خطرات اور اس کے مضر اثرات کے متعلق عوام کو آگاہ کرنا ہے اس سلسلے میں تمباکو نوشی کے مضر اثرات کے بارے میں شعور اجاگر کرنے کیلئے 100 سے زائد سول سوسائٹی کی نمائندہ تنظیمیں کولیشن فار ٹوبیکو کنٹرول پاکستان (سی ٹی سی پاک) کے بینر تلے انسداد تمباکو کا عالمی دن منا رہی ہیں،ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا محمد شیر خان کھچی نے کہا کہ ہر سال کی طرح اس سال بھی عالمی ادارہ صحت کی جانب سے انسداد تمباکو کے عالمی دن کو تھیم پیش کیا گیا ہے جس کا موضوع و نصب العین “بچوں کو ٹوبیکو انڈسٹری سے بچاﺅ” ہے اور بچوں کو تمباکو سے بچانا ہمارا فرض ہے اگر ہم بچوں کو تمباکو سے بچا لیں گے تو ہماری آئندہ نسل تمباکو سے پاک معاشرے میں سانس لے گی تمباکو نوشی کے حوالہ سے پنجاب کالج،ایسنٹ کالج اور سرکاری اداروں کے اشتراک سے ریلیاں اور تقریبات منعقد ہونگی۔
